Peter Norris graduated into the British Royal Navy in 1977 where he became a marine engineer and diver. In 1982 having completed 5 years service he had a change of career and moved into sales.
With over 20 years "fast moving consumer goods" experience with 12 years specialising in toys. He has held senior positions with Toy Options (now The Character Group), Power Wheels and Mattel. He has been involved in the set up of pan European distribution for two US Companies and in 1995 he started his own Sales & Marketing Agency.
With his experience of the US market, he saw the early potential of the Internet and in 1997 developed the original Toyzone Website. He has extensive knowledge of the Internet from both a marketing and technical perspective.
In 1999 he set up a consultancy specialising in Internet, Sales and Marketing. He has worked with BSkyB on their Technology Channel, set up an affiliate based e-commerce proposition called Checklist for the travel industry and in 2003 he moved to Canada to set-up distribution for his client in North America.
One of his great skills is networking and in 2003 he successfully introduced Morphy Richards UK to Nurise Sales & Marketing Canada in order to establish distribution of their SDA line to North America.
In 2004 he worked with the head office of WSI the Worlds largest Internet Franchise and seeing the potential to assist companies from an experience and knowledge base he is now offering his services as an independent Management Consultant.
In his spare time he relaxes playing golf and has recently started to learn to fly which has always been a life long ambition.
